Bikes for Africa (2008) was non-profit organisation, which launched an ambitious bicycle recycling and refurbishing programme – contributing to poverty eradication and sustainable industry in African countries.
Bikes were shipped to selected African based partners, who deliver the projects on the ground. Refurbishing, distributing and maintaining the bikes creates micro enterprises, benefiting local people.
